No, there is nothing to select. AntiqBot automatically recognises what you upload and activates the right specialist module for you.
Photograph in natural daylight, no flash. Take photos of the whole object and the details — stamps, signatures, base. Neutral background, multiple angles. The more you show, the more accurate the analysis.
AntiqBot is a tool, not a replacement for the expert eye. For most objects the analysis gives a reliable direction. For high-value or legally important items we always advise consulting a physical expert as well.
Credits & payment
Credits in four bundles: 5 credits for €4.99, 10 for €8.99, 25 for €17.99, 50 for €29.99. The larger the bundle, the lower the cost — from €1.00 down to €0.60 per credit. No subscription, no automatic renewal.
Credits remain valid for 12 months from your last purchase. Every new purchase extends your entire balance by 12 months, so occasional buyers never lose anything. Balance expired anyway? Send us a mail and we'll take a look together.
If an analysis fails due to a technical error on our side, the credit is automatically refunded. For credit bundles already purchased there is no right of withdrawal: at checkout you explicitly confirm that AntiqBot delivers the digital service immediately (in accordance with Belgian Book VI of the Economic Law Code, art. VI.53, 13°). This consent is recorded with timestamp. In case of a genuine payment error (credits not added), we always resolve it — mail support.

What AntiqBot does (and doesn't)
Identification determines what an object is — maker, period, origin, style. Valuation determines its market value in euros. AntiqBot does both indicatively, but a formal valuation report for legal purposes requires a certified sworn appraiser.
Porcelain and ceramics, silver and metalware, furniture and design, clocks and watches, African art, bronzes, books, vintage cameras, whisky, Pokémon, and more. Over 20 specialists. Gemstones are excluded — they require physical instruments.
No. AntiqBot analyses are indicative and have no legal value. For inheritance, insurance or sale we recommend a certified sworn appraiser.
Partially. AntiqBot analyses style period and technique, but does not attribute works to specific artists. Judging a painting through a photograph is like tasting a wine through a description — without handling the work, no definitive verdict is possible.
No. Gemological identification requires loupe, refractometer and spectroscope. No photo analysis replaces that examination.
Understanding results
The score (0-100) indicates how certain the AI is of its judgement. Above 80: strong indication. Between 60 and 80: reasonable confidence, a photo from another angle can help. Below 60: weak signal, often due to an unclear photo or unusual object. Upload sharper photos or extra details (base, marks, signature).
Click the 👎 button below the report and add a short comment, that helps the model improve. You can also upload extra photos (base, signature, details) for a new analysis. For high-value items: always consult a physical expert as well.
Not as a binding valuation. We provide an indication of market value based on comparable sales, but value depends on condition, provenance, market timing and buyer. For insurance or sale we refer you to a sworn appraiser or auction house (such as Bernaerts or Catawiki).
Privacy & rights
Yes. Uploaded photos are used solely for the analysis and are not shared with third parties. Your analyses remain visible in your account; you can delete them at any time.
We use anonymised, decoupled data to improve the modules. Personal data (email, name) remains separated. No photo is ever made public or resold.
Send a mail to support — we will delete your account and all linked data within 14 days, in accordance with GDPR. Unused credits expire upon deletion.
