1. Controller
AntiqBot is a service of Erwin Truyts, sole proprietorship under Belgian law (KBO: 0826.004.290), Heiend 1, 2275 Lille, Belgium. The data controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is Erwin Truyts, trading as AntiqBot, reachable at info@antiqbot.com. For privacy-related questions, access requests or complaints, please contact us at the above email address. We aim to respond to your request within 30 days, in accordance with the statutory deadline.
2. What data we collect
Account data: email address and password (stored encrypted using industry-standard hashing). Usage data: uploaded images for analysis, analysis results, credit usage and transaction history. Technical data: IP address, browser type and access times, solely for security purposes and fraud prevention. Payment data: payment transactions are processed by our external payment provider. AntiqBot does not store credit card or bank account numbers.
3. Legal basis and purposes
Your data is processed on the following legal grounds under Article 6 GDPR. Performance of the contract: providing the analysis service, managing your account and credits, and processing payments. Legitimate interest: improving our analysis modules, ensuring the security of the service, and preventing fraud and abuse. Legal obligation: compliance with fiscal and accounting obligations. We do not sell personal data to third parties and do not use your data for direct marketing unless you have given explicit consent.
4. Images
Uploaded images are processed to perform the requested analysis. Analysis results are stored in your account history as long as your account is active. Images are not used for training AI models or for commercial purposes without your explicit, prior consent. Upon account deletion, all uploaded images and associated analysis results are permanently deleted.
5. Retention periods
Account data and analysis history are retained as long as your account is active. After account deletion, all personal data is permanently erased within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain longer (such as invoice data, which is retained for 7 years in accordance with Belgian fiscal legislation). Technical log files are retained for a maximum of 12 months for security purposes.
6. Third-party services and transfers
To provide the analysis service, AntiqBot uses third parties (sub-processors) for AI processing, image recognition, payment processing and data storage. A data processing agreement has been concluded with each of these parties in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. Some sub-processors may be located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). In such cases, appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an adequacy decision by the European Commission. 7. Security
AntiqBot takes appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. This includes: encrypted storage of passwords using industry-standard hashing, communication via HTTPS/TLS encryption, and restriction of data access to strictly authorised processes. In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will inform you and the competent supervisory authority in accordance with legal requirements.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure, right to restriction of processing, right to data portability, and right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can delete your account at any time by contacting info@antiqbot.com. Upon deletion, all your data, analyses and account information will be permanently erased, subject to legal retention obligations. If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA): www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.
9. Cookies
AntiqBot uses only strictly necessary functional cookies (session token) for the operation of the service. No tracking, analytical or marketing cookies are placed. No data is shared with advertising networks or third parties for marketing purposes.
10. Changes
This privacy policy may be updated. Significant changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance by email to registered users. The most recent version is always available on the website.
